Technical Background

FastMark has been developed to provide a highly durable retroreflective sheet material that conforms to the roadway. The material is resistant to vehicle traffic, and provides superior daylight and nighttime visibility to the approaching driver. The provision of a self-adhesive bituminous adhesive to the material ensures that it can be cold-applied to both asphalt and concrete pavements, without need for heating of the material and/or the roadway. Included in the construction is a fiber reinforcement that controls the flexural rigidity and the extent of bond strength development ensures ease of removal at the end of use.
